Check In
The check in report is prepared at the start of each new tenancy. Ideally, the tenants are present at check-in and it is carried out on the day of commencement of the tenancy. In order to conduct a check-in, the inventory must already have been produced.
All repairs and cleaning should have already taken place and the presence of each item on the inventory will be checked and its condition will be recorded. Keys are checked and signed for and meters readings are noted.
The tenant/s will sign and date the document, confirming its accuracy and digital photographs accompany the report.
